I am trying to use the ADIS16210/PCBZ with the ADISUSBZ, but the interface connectors do not match. How do I make this work?
The ADIS16210/PCBZ offers an electrical interface connector, J1, which is compatible with J1 on the ADISUSB. Note that in some cases, J1 has been built with a 16-pin connector, rather than the 12-pin connector. This was not intentional but is simple to address, using one of two options:
If the wrong pins on ADIS16210/PCBZ interface boards are cut off or are damaged, use Hirose part number, A3-16PA-2SV(71), as the replacement device.
Before replacing the connector on the ADIS16210/PCBZ, remove the ADIS16210CMLZ, so that it is not exposed to solder-reflow temperatures, which can impact calibration accuracy.

Additional note: This applies to the ADIS16223/PCBZ, ADIS16227/PCBZ and ADIS16228/PCBZ as well.
