Do I need to initialize the FER and MUX registers before calling the rom_Boot() API

Question asked by gvasanth Employee on Mar 26, 2012

If BCMD_NOCFG in the dBootCommand parameter is NOT set, then Boot code takes care of initializing the FER and MUX registers. User need to ensure the presence of valid stack before invoking the API.

If BCMD_NOCFG is set, it is the programs responsibility to configure the FER and MUX registers appropriately before invoking the API. See the Run-time API section of the respective Boot Mode.
