Blackfin JTAG console: dirty output with bfin_jtag_comm

Hi all,

thanks to Jiez's help I've a JTAG console up&running. In U-boot environment it's working well, but not in uClinux environment: when the sistem boots up I'm able to see a clear kernel output, but when I try to insert any command at uClinux prompt the console shows garbage characters; commands like "cd","ls" (a few characters) are executed, but commands like "reboot" (more characters) give in output "sh: can't execute 'ot': No such file or directory".

BusyBox v1.16.2 (2012-03-05 13:40:18 CET) hush - the humble shell

root:/> ^[[38;9Rat

sh: can't execute 'at': No such file or directory

root:/> cat

root:/> at

sh: can't execute 'at': No such file or directory

root:/>

I'm using these toolset:

  • GNU Toolchain: 2010R1-RC4
  • U-boot: 2010.06 (ADI-2010R1-RC2)
  • uClinux-dist: 2010R1, Nov. 17, 2010

I'm using bfin_jtag_comm kernel driver compiled as static in uClinux Kernel, with "console=ttyBFJC0" u-boot->bootargs parameter; I've tried jtag console connection with netcat, telnet and jtagconsole helper binary, with the same "dirty and incorrect output" result.

May you help me? Thanks in advance.
