I am considering the ADIS16365 for an application that may experience vibration. Do you have any tips on how I should mount it?
We have found that the mounting approach is very influential in acheiving the best performance available in the ADIS16365. In fact, some have offered that when using only two screws, located in between the mounting tabs, that the structure can resonate with vibration at a frequency between 2kHz and 3kHz. One opportunity for reducing this behavior is to implement an attachment system that applies even mounting force to all four mounting tabs. AN-1045 offers several examples of this type of mounting system.
