ADV7612 Power Supplies Filtering

Hi,

I am designing with the ADV7612. The power supply recommendations, http://ez.analog.com/servlet/JiveServlet/download/1751-18-6335/HDMI_RX_PowerSupplies_RevA_050411.pdf, calls an LC filter device NFE61PT472C1H9L to be used. This is a very large device with a current rating of 2A and capacitance rating of 4700pF, the largest in that family.

I would like to choose a smaller device for our very small board and found another Murata family, the NFE31P series. There I found the part NFE31PT222Z1E9L which has 2200pF rating but in a much smaller package.

Can anyone tell me if this is good enough? We don't have the time to do a rigorous power/noise analysis and are depending on the EVM design. But this point is problematic because of our limited board size.

Thanks
