Do you have any reference designs, code or drivers for using your IMU evaluation tools with LabVIEW?
National Instruments provides some LabVIEW reference designs, which leverage National Instruments hardware. Click on this website to review their offering:
The ADISUSB evaluation system does not officially support LabVIEW development, but the attached project file was offered to us and has helped a few customers get started with their projects. ADI is not in a position to offer any further support on this project, but hope that it serves as a good starting point.
Here are the instructions for using this file, from the author:
I wanted to get you something initially – this is pretty crude but it does provide register read and write functions. The read function simply reads the contents of a register. Any scaling would have to be part of your customer's program. Here are the files:
EZUSB_ReadRegister.vi – reads the register selected in the pull down menu item
EZUSB_WriteRegister.vi – writes to the register selected contents specified in Register Data
To get this to work you need to uninstall the normal iSensor software and delete the driver from the windows system device driver manager.
Note you must select the checkbox for delete – simply uninstalling will not work
Then create a new .inf file using the driver wizard in Labview
I followed the steps for driver generation and tried the VI's attached and it works just fine. I´m using LabView 10 and Windows 7.
Thanks for the support.
