"Preboot" destroys u-boot?

I have some strange observations on my bf526-ezbrd.

If I enable the "preboot" feature and do a "saveenv" command, the u-boot will trash it self. (It doesn't start up anymore. I have to flash it.)

In my preboot I have some i2c commands. Eg. "i2c mw 20 0 0 1;i2c 20 12 ef 1". (It will turn on a LED.)

I don't know if that makes a difference.

If I remove the preboot and move the i2c commands to my "nandboot", all works.

Am I doing something wrong?
