Can I use the internal voltage regulator when VDDext = 1.8V?
The on-chip voltage regulator provides a range of core voltage levels from a single 2.25 V to 3.6 V input. So, with a VDDext less that 2.25V, it would not be possible to use the internal voltage regulator. With VDDext = 1.8V, you must use an external voltage regulator.Application Notes, EE-228 and EE-339 would be useful.
