force a DPI interrupt

Hello,

I have a C project in which I need to force a DPI interrupt several times before I start responding to real ones.

I'm finding that when I use the raise() or raisensm() function to force an interrupt

I used

*pDPI_IRPTL=0x00000040; // I need only 0x00000040 because other bits are used for other devices

raise(SIG_DPI);

but  *pDPI_IRPTL didn't change.

Can you help me how  I can change value of *pDPI_IRPTL

or generate SIG_DPI with *pDPI_IRPTL=0x00000040;

Regards,

Milos
