Hey all,

We have a board that we developed a little while ago and succesfully ported uClinux 2008R1-RC8 to.  The board was based on the BF537-stamp board.  We have a new requirement that we need to add some GPIO to it - however when trying to add GPIO support as shown at:

http://docs.blackfin.uclinux.org/doku.php?id=linux-kernel:drivers:gpio-sysfs

Device Drivers  --->
  [*] GPIO Support  --->
    [*]   /sys/class/gpio/... (sysfs interface)

When I goto my kernel settings I do not have "GPIO Support" as an option under device drivers.  Either this means I do not have some pre-required item selected or I cannot enable gpio-sysfs support.  Is there any way I can get userspace GPIO support under uClinux 2008R1-RC8?

Thanks in advance
