how do I use acc72 with native long fracts in c/c++

In our system we use native fixed-point types (mostly long fract) for audio data which works fine.

I need to use acc72 for some filters and the built-in functions take fract32 arguments.

What is the recommended way to use acc72 when the in- and outdata are buffers containing native long fracts?

Now I use bitslr() and lrbits() but would like to know if there are any better way to do this.
