Hello,

I would like to add a USB Wifi Adapter to my ADRV9364 plus ADRV1CRR-BOB. I have two dongles. One has RTL8723AU chipset and the other has MT7601U.

I found both the chipset driver has been included in ADI Linux:

linux/drivers/net/wireless/realtek/rtl8xxxu at master · analogdevicesinc/linux · GitHub

linux/drivers/net/wireless/mediatek at master · analogdevicesinc/linux · GitHub

I have looked that PlutoSDR support RTL8723 and users just need to setup config.txt file to enable the driver. USB OTG – HOST function Support [Analog Devices Wiki]

Both of my Wifi dongle can be recognized by the system.

root@analog:~# lsusb
Bus 001 Device 004: ID 0bda:b720 Realtek Semiconductor Corp.
Bus 001 Device 003: ID 2955:1001
Bus 001 Device 002: ID 1a40:0101 Terminus Technology Inc. 4-Port HUB
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub

However, I only got eth0 and lo after running "ifconfig -a".

My question is:

1. If there is a similar way to configure the driver in ADRV9364 to support my USB dongle, just like PlutoSDR?

2. If it is difficult to use my USB dongle, is there another solution to connect my ADRV9364 to wifi network?

Thank you very much.

Best regards,

Roberto
