Method for extending input voltage range on LTC3895

The LTC3895 has an input voltage range of 7V-150V DC. This is impressive, but alas, I need a larger voltage range.


Assuming I get MOSFETs that can handle a larger voltage range and use a zener clipper circuit for the VIN, RUN, and other high voltage pins, would it be realistic to say that the LTC3895 could then be modified in this fashion to be able to handle a voltage range of say: 7V-400V?
