Hello,

I have some questions about Maximum Latency of Video and Audio.

My customer has been developing HDMI repeater box by using ADV7611 and ADV7511W.
Please refer attached file "Block_Diagram.pptx".
The condition is as follows:
Video resolution, Frame Rate : 1280x720p60
  Video format : RGB/YCbCr 24bit
  Audio : Stereo 2ch

Question 1: About ADV7611, video path,
What is the maximum latency on the video path for ADV7611 when converting HDMI to parallel?
I see your threads as follows:
 https://ez.analog.com/thread/83555
=> The answer : the delay should be less then 20-40 pixel clocks
 https://ez.analog.com/message/304080-adv7611-latency
=> The answer : the latency will 40-50 pixel clocks.
So I think the maximum latency is 50 pixel clocks. (There is no case of over 50 pixel clocks.)
 Is this right?

Question 2: About ADV7511W, video path,
What is the maximum latency on the video path for ADV7511W when converting parallel to HDMI?
I see your thread as follows:
 https://ez.analog.com/message/267622-what-is-the-adv7511-latency
=> The answer :  this maybe 20-40 pixels clocks of latency.
So I think the maximum latency is 40 pixel clocks. (There is no case of over 40 pixel clocks.)
 Is this right?

Question 3: About ADV7611, audio path,
I think it's too difficult to define the audio latency of ADV7611.
But at least, I don't think the audio delay is too long so that there is an influence bad for the Lip Synchronization of the system.
 Is this right?

Thank you!
Best regards.
