I'm currently developing an upward mixer for RF signals. The LT5560 fits my needs and I want to simulate a test circuit before buying and soldering all the parts, but there is no LTSpice model for the mixer. Is there any way you can supply a model?
We currently do not have a model available for LTspice. Apologies.
We don't have an LTSpice model for the LT5560, but you're probably better off trying to simulate the part using some RF simulation tools in the frequency domain, rather than a time domain tool like LTSpice.
Typically, we use the impedance data shown on the datasheet to create an s-parameter file (*.s1p, *.s2p, etc.) for each port of the mixer. These files can be used to simulate the impedance matching. Once the mixer is matched up correctly, you can measure the board to verify your design.
