What are the EEPROM ID values for LT Eval Boards?

Question asked by eweststrate on Jun 21, 2018

Something is wrong with either my Demo Circuit 890B or evaluation board, because PScope reports "no demoboard detected".  I have tried many things, but now I suspect that I overwrote EEPROM stored values from my 2395A Demo Circuit, because I noticed that the WP/PROG jumper was set to PROG when shipped.

I've sniffed the I2C lines and see that the EEPROM is being periodically read, and these are the values I get:

5A 49 50 5A 49 0A 49 50 5A 49 0A 44 32 33 37 34 2C 44 43 32 33 39 35 41 2D 41 2C 59 47 47 38 30 31 54 2C 43 4D 4F 53 2C 2D 2D 2D 2D 2D 2D 2D 2D 0A FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF

in ascii, this looks like:

..or something close to that. (My board is the 2395A-A)

When the 890B board is reading with PScope attached, it just reads the first 6 values then stops and repeats, making me think that the the 6th byte in the EEPROM could be corrupted (0x0A), but I cant be sure.
