Hi !

Our customer are trying to use AD1046.

They want to use "CONSTANT CURRENT MODE".

Can they use "CONSTANT CURRENT MODE" without shunt resistor which is on secondary side?

I think it is impossible.

They want to do this because they think shunt resistor generates too much heat.

I am checking which power they are going to use but they said they will output 2kW.

Do you have any idea to solve resistor heat problem?

How about parallelizing the resistors?

Best regards
