Can ADA4627 be configured as inverting amplifier with Gain of 0.5? Is there any stability concerns? Hardware setting is Rf = 1kohms and Rg= 2kohms.
Your advise is very much appreciated.
The device will work just fine. Your resistor values are also good, keep in mind that using a very large value of feedback resistance implies a higher system noise, larger offset voltage and may affect the stability. Also operating at -0.5 gain gives you a noise gain of 1.5, your bandwidth of operation will be computed with the noise gain and not the signal gain.Regards,Goz
I need to ask similar question for LT1028.
Can LT1028 be configured as inverting amplifier with Gain of 0.5? Is there any stability concerns? Hardware setting is Rf = 0.5kohms and Rg= 1kohms.
Please use LT1128 if you're gonna have an attenuation of 0.5. The LT1028 is not unity gain stable, the gain, phase vs frequency plot shows that the device is stable at gains greater than +2 or -1. Regards,Goz
