I wanted to do LTSpice simulations on a POE design and can't find a model for LT4925. Is one going to be available soon?
Just a quick update, the LT4295 LTSpice model is now released. If you don't see it, please sync your LTSpice.
These are interesting ideas, I will keep your suggestions in mind. In general, we don't discuss unreleased products.
There currently is not a released LT4295 LTSpice model. I've listed several options below.
Are you trying to simulate the IEEE 802.3bt PD interface? If so, there's a LTSpice model for LT4294 which models the interface.
Are you trying to simulate the DC/DC converter? If so, the LT4276 is very similar and can be used to model the converter inside the LT4295.
Do you know if there is a new POE solution coming out of the Analog Devices / Linear Tech merger? Basically I am thinking of a LT4295 solution use iCoupler Analog Devices technology. Currently to do this I would need to combine the LT4294 with an Analog Devices flyback regulator. Add to this the LT4321 and a lot fets and the solution is getting very bulky (also expensive).
