Hi,

My customers are considering LTM 8067.

Since it is used with 5 V output, I found RFB in Table 1, 8.25 kΩ.

However, if 8.25 kΩ is inserted into the formula for RFB of Datasheet P.8, Vout = 4.87 V.

For Vout DC Voltage on page 3, Vout = 5 V (typ) with RADJ = 8.25 kΩ.

From the calculation, it seems that Vout (typ) = 4.87 V,

Is the calculation different?

The explanation from page 8 of the datasheet is as follows:

FB (Pins G7):Apply a resistor from this pin to GND to set the output voltage VOUTN relative to VOUTN, using the recommended value given in Table 1.If Table 1 does not list the desired VOUT value, the equation:To the seasoned designer, this exponential equation may seem unusual. The equation is exponential due to nonlinear current sources that are used to temperature compensate the regulation.RFB =37.415 VOUT–0.955 ( )kΩ may be used to approximate the value.Regards
