AD-FMCOMMS5 AD9361 for WIFI MIMO Applications

Hello Everyone,


I have recently taken interest in potentially purchasing your AD-FMCOMMS5 wideband RF receiver. The project that I am taking part in requires the prototyping of a MIMO radio that is capable of decoding WIFI signals (802.11n and 802.11ac). I have three questions:

 

Firstly: Is this module compatible with the Xilinx Zynq ZCU102 Evaluation Board? I have read this post online: https://ez.analog.com/thread/103666-ad-fmcomms5-ebz-compatibility-with-zcu102#comment-347010. I was just wondering if there was more instruction and resources on how to interface with the module with zcu102. Also, is it imperative to the performance to use the suggested AES-FMC-EXT-G FMC Extenders?  

 

Secondly: Is this module capable of decoding WIFI signals (802.11n and 802.11ac)? I know this is a rather open-ended question but decoding WIFI OFDM is a herculean task so naturally I am curious if it has been done before on your SDR module. 

 

Thirdly: What is the maximum sample rate of this module?
