Is there a way to parallel LT8391 or similar LED drivers ICs to increase Output current?
Yes, it is simple. Just connect the outputs in parallel and they will both source current. For LED drivers, do not connect Vc pins together. There is no need.
It is more effective, without beat frequencies and with the most accuracy, if the parallel converters' clocks are synchronized.
LT8391 can provide high current and high power. Please tell me your input voltage range, your LED string voltage and current and we can figure out if you actually need parallel converters.
Best of luck,
Thanks for your reply.
If I want to use the LT8391 for battery charging of multi parallel banks (each bank is charged by one LT8391) at max current that the LT8391 can do and 12 cells each string, can I do it as you said above?
