I would like to know if it is possible to use this device as a time history of the shock?
Thank you for your post! I might need a bit more detail, with respect to what level of function you are asking about, but I think so. I am assuming that you will be paring this device with an embedded processor that will be monitoring the data from the ADXL357, real-time. Is this correct?
Our intention is to use this device to track the possible shock during the shipping of equipment. Since for use it is important also to understand the duration of the shock, not only the level. This is not necessarily with a real-time monitoring, it could be sufficient to recover this type of data after the arrival of the equipment. Hope this can explain you better the question
I don't believe that this device will be able to perform this function, autonomously. We have seen implementations like this, with low-power embedded processors and the ADXL372. I hope that helps.
