LTC3892 for high power buck

I am trying to use the LTC3892 for a 36V to 29V @ 10A buck application. In this configuration would I need to use an external VCC for the LTC3892?

Specifically I have noticed I am starting to brown out the output at around 3-4A @ 30V, then the chip gets hot and dies. Only the half of the chip for that buck dies the other half continues to work.  I figured since the chip is getting hot I might be exceeding the power rating of the internal LDO.

I am using 4 (two parallel high, and two parallel low) CSD18532Q5B transistors.

If an engineer contacts me off line I can share my schematic.
