The behaviour of the ADuCM3029's RTC upon the different reset sources available in the system.

Question asked by TMB on May 27, 2018

Hello all,

My question is regarding the behaviour of the ADuCM3029's RTC upon the different reset sources available in the system.  In the ADuCM3029's user guide it clearly states that whenever the Power-On Reset is asserted both RTC0/RTC1 get their registers zeroed, however I was wondering if the RTC0 registers are also zeroed when the external reset pin is asserted (SYS_HWRST, active low ), once the chip is energised and its power sequence finished.  Another question I would like to know is if there a way to use an external reset that does not clear the RTC0 registers when that external reset is asserted.

Thank you for your time.
