We need very low frequency amplitude noise (down to 10 Hz). We are interested in the AD9162 chip, and have found data on the phase noise down to 10 Hz offset from an output carrier (e.g. Figs. 90 and 93) but not on the amplitude noise down to 10 Hz offset from an output carrier (e.g. Fig. 67). Has AD done any measurements of that low frequency offset amplitude noise? And yes, for this application, it’s the amplitude noise that is more important than the phase noise (see e.g. https://tf.nist.gov/general/tn1337/Tn190.pdf that distinguishes between amplitude and phase noise).
