AD7124-8 bias voltage and burnout currents

I'm using an AD7124-8 in a thermocouple data logger. I use the internal bias voltage to put the negative input half way between the supply rails. The first channel in the sequence has the burnout currents enable to detect whether a thermocouple is connected, then the second channel has the burnout currents disabled to take the measurement. My question is, do I need to disable the bias voltage when I enable the burnout currents?
