ADE7816 Current Channel Return Path Consolidation

The ADE7816 has three current input channels with dedicated "return" paths exposed IAP/IAN, IBP/IBN and ICP/ICN; however, the three remaining current input channels IDP, IEP and IFP share a common return path, simply IN, which internally ties the three channels together.  See Figures 1 and 22 of the datasheet.

Is there any reason I cannot (or should not) tie IAN, IBN and ICN together with IN and apply only a single anti-aliasing filter, saving six components (3 resistors and 3 caps)?  Or, since channels A, B and C share a common gain, can they be tied together, but remain separate from IN (saving four components)?
