What is the max time of running only TX_QEC init cal?
Currently, in my current design, the TX_QEC init cal is running about 9s at 5.6 GHz . Is this expectable?
9sec for init QEC is not expected, it should be in few 100 msec. (anyway less than 1 sec).
Factors that can impact QEC init cal are power supply (VDDA_CALPLL, VDDA_CLKSYNTH ) and clock.
Check for reference clock purity and whether all synthesisers are locked.
At bellow 3Ghz, the TX_QEC init took about 200ms max .
But within 3->4GHz, TX_QEC init cal took about 1s to 3s
within 4->6GHz, TX_QEC init cal took about 5s->9s
Are you using external LO ?
How are you measuring the calibration time. ?
Are you using same Profile in all three cases ?
The time measured above is for internal LO.
Calibration time is the execution time of MYKONOS_waitInitCals.
I'm not sure what do you mean by profile. I'm using the API not the RadioVerse software GUI to do this.
Do we expect different profile for each frequency band?
Which board are you using?
Are you running only TX QEC init cal or you are running the following five calibrations along with TX QEC init cal?
