I need to design composite signal to Anlog RGB converter and vice versa for my design. Kindly let me know if Analog has any single or multichip solution for the same. Quick reply is appreciated.
ADI does not have a single chip solution for composite direct to RGB analog. The nomal chain of video processing would be:
composite -> decoder -> YCbCr -> color space converter -> RGB digital -> encoder -> RGB analog
There's several combination of chips that can accomplish this.

I am looking at the solution to interface ADV7181C with ADV7390 to convert the composite to analog RGB. Do let me know if this solution works or if you see any limitations. Please suggest if you have any better cost effective solutions for the same.
It looks like I have to control the ADC selection, output resolution and other things with the above configuration. Is it possible to do the hard wired configuration without using I2C writes as I dont have any active master on my board to do that activity.
I looks like this should work from looking at the block diagrams and register sets. This 2 chip solution looks reasonable from the cost stand point.
All video devices require I2C to initilaize them. There is no hardwared option. You could implement a simple micro-processor to initialize the parts on power up. It could be something as a low cost PIC.
