When I save a data file, it text or comma separated, the file will not load into the DPGDownloader software.
Yes, but try the reverse first: from DPG Downloader, generate a vector and then save it into a file (right click on the signal "box" where you configure the vector sampling rate, etc).
This would give you a file to use as a reference. The format is ASCII, as a list of integers. Could use either Word or Excel for that.
Thank you Arik, that was very helpful.
Now that I have the data file loaded, there is still no output from the AD9736 Eval Board (I'm looking at the J2 output).
The DPGDownloader program is reading my clock input, and loads the vectors to the DPG3. Is there some initialization of the AD9736 Eval Board required?
We can take a look, but I have a question and a request first:
- if your original question was answered, could you start a new thread for any additional ones. This would also help future users to find the answer if they have a similar question.
- To get the obvious out of the way, have you gone through the start-up Guide for the AD9736 EVB?

But please start a new thread listing AD9736 in the header, this will help the right team to be notified.
Thanks, I started a new thread.
