I am having some issues with the connection of the ADF4351 evaluation board to the ADF435X application. The application does not recognize the board. Message is:
Attempting USB adapter board connection...
No USB adapter board attached. Try unplugging and re-plugging the USB cable.
In the forum I have found a pdf entitled "Fixing USB adapter board EEPROM" that explains that some USB adapter boards may have connection issues when showing PID=7050. Although ADF4351 Evaluation Kit do not use USB adapter, the device PID=7050 and not B403.
In fact, I have followed pdf document instructions until step 16. There I have a run time error when running EEPROMv1.03. I have also installed USB_Adapter_Board_Installer and ADI_Int-N_Setup, a suggested in the forum, but there is a new error when running EEPROMv1.03: "Firmware failed to download-check USB connection".
I could not go further.
My question is, Am I doing it in the right way? How can I then avoid the EEPROM issue and modify the PID?
Otherwise, How can I fix the problem?
I have tried both in windows 10 and windows 7 OS.
