We used ADV7180 to connect the cvbs camera, and want to get the status of the cvbs channel connection quickly:
1. Write 0x00 to register 0x00 so as to switch to channel 1.
2. Read the bit “0” of the of the register 0x10. If the value is 1, the cvbs channel is considered to be connected normally; otherwise, the cvbs channel connection is considered abnormal. in this case, status value is correct.
3. Write 0x01 to register 0x00 and switch to channel 2.
4. Read the bit “0” of the register 0x10.If the value is 1, the cvbs channel is considered to be connected normally. Otherwise, the cvbs channel connection is considered abnormal. in this case, the value read for the first time is generally wrong, but it is accurate when the second time read.
When testing, after writing into register 0x00, it needs delay 500ms to get the accurate value of register 0x10. However, 500ms is too long to meet our needs. I hope to obtain the connection status value of the cvbs channel quickly. Could you please give some suggestion?
By the way, we try to modify the register of 0x3A to avoid the power down, and register of 0xF3 to bypass the AA filter, but they do not work.
