Does anybody try to pull this one to work on a evaluation board that is based on aduc7024 before?
After the Inactivity interrupt, you need to make sure the New Stable State is different from the Initial State.
So you read out the data for X, Y, Z axis and compare them with the intial state.
I didn't try it on the evaluation board based ADuC7024. The platform I used is ADuC7026 + ADXL345. So the source code included in the app note is based ADuC7026.
However, because it is the C code, you can use that code with ADuC7024 also.
Thanks for the info. I have been trying at the evaluation board for few times although i change a few neccessary setting which suit the board.
I am wondering, if a fall is detected, it is displayed through UART right?
As far as i can see from the code. The coding is very much complicated.
Please advise on this matter..
Despite that, there is one more section where there is a time to detect the activity interrupt after the free fall interrupt is inserted. The time interval during that will be 200ms according to the application note and set by the TIMER1 but as i can see from the coding, it is set to 20ms.
Is the algorithm is set to 20ms and it will work fine too?
Back to the previous question, when a fall of a person is detected after all the situation is met, the alert will be notified using UART ?

1) The source code uses UART to send out state information. I am attaching you a slides to help you understand how the source code works. (See page 21-23.)
2) The timer is set to 20ms interval, at the same time, I have a counter, when the counter reaches 10, it is 200ms.
The code stated above was in the interrupt under the inactivity interrupt. I dont really understand about this.
