What's the characteristics (coefficients, precision) of the VPTAT output of the ADRF6720 ?

Hi,

Some of those links refer to PTATs from different devices, those will not be very relevant to the ADRF6720.

If we look at the graph of PTAT Voltage vs. Temperature it is of the form:

V = m * (Degrees Celsius) + y

where m is the slope and y is a voltage offset

The slope, m, of the PTAT vs. temperature is approximately 3.9mV / degree C. This parameter should be quite consistent between devices.

The nominal offset, y, is 1.404 V but this will have some variation from part to part.

Keep in mind that you are not measuring ambient temperature, you are measuring an internal temperature which will be higher than ambient by some amount depending on your configuration of the device (the power consumption)
