I’m using GNU on a Linux image for ZC706 and FMCOMMS5. My project requires to transmit a sine wave in either the in-phase carrier or the quadrature carrier, but not both. I’ve been looking in the forums and documentation to see if it’s possible or if someone did it, but without any success. One of my attempts included supplying the real part with a 5kHz sine wave and the imaginary part with a constant value of 0, but the signal at the output included both a real and an imaginary part. Both parts kept fluctuating in an odd way.
On the oscilloscope, it doesn’t look like a sine wave exactly as seen in the next screenshot:
There doesn’t seem to be a problem with the hardware as I already ran some examples and they work fine. Is there any possible way to transmit in one of the carriers, or at least transmit a constant (but not 0) using AD9361?
