LIBIIO configuration

I made an earlier post in this forum about how to stream data from my AD9371 to a target over ethernet. It appears that using libiio and iiod is my best bet. I am a little confused on the setup of IIOD and how to configure it.

According to this wiki page What is libiio? [Analog Devices Wiki]  libiio has a network backend that allows it to stream to a server, like matlab or GNUradio. How do I configure the settings to stream externally? The wiki is unclear for my purposes. I have read that iiod acts like a server that runs on the Zynq to stream the samples over Ethernet to a Linux or Windows PC, directly to libiio. How does one configure the server and the target?

Additionally, I am confused by the example program AD9371-iiostream.c. It appears to reach MSPS levels that are not attainable by the RX or the TX. What is happening?

I am happy to share more information upon request. Thank you in advance for your patience and response.
