It is important to note that the ADM2582E specifies 15 kV Human Body Model ESD. Above you mention that you require IEC61000-4-2 ESD. This requires more robust transient immunity solution. I have never tested the ADM2582E with just current limiting resistors, the IEC61000-4-2 ESD is a high current transient, I would advice using a TVS and possibly current limiting resistors between the bus pins and the TVS. This is for the ADM3485E, a different device but should give you some information. The TVS mentioned here was not paired with the ADM2587E and tested, therefore it may be advisable to include current limiting/coordinating resistor in series as discussed above, these can be replaced with o Ohm links if resistors is not required. I dont know if this is possible in your design, please advise. These should be pulse proof resistors for improved robustness.
