I want to capture events up to 200g with a 0.8-1.6kHz resolution for a duration of ~10s using an ADXL372.
From reading the datasheet I conclude that I can use the FIFO to capture the data leading to the event, the device then triggers the microcontroller and switches into full bandwidth mode. I can then record the 10s of data using the microcontroller, and afterwards read out the FIFO to get the data before the event.
The datasheet also states that it takes 1ms to transition into full bandwidth mode.
Will I lose 1ms of samples during the mode switching?
