How can we increase or decrease frequency in ADAU1701 using two push buttons?
You use an Up/Down GPIO conditioning cell with a table. Then drive a VCO with the output.
I used the default table size of 33 lines. I only changed the first few values to something other than "1" but you will get the idea of how to do it. You can change the number of table elements and change the entries to obtain the frequency steps you desire.
The VCO puts out nothing with a 0 input and it puts out a frequency of fs/2 (the Nyquist Freq) with an "1" input. These numbers are in 5.19 format. But with the table you can enter it in decimal between 0 and 1. I would not actually include 0 or 1 but close to it.
This project runs on the Mini eval board if you have it.
