Original design was for the ADV7282.
Now for production, the new ADV7282A is available.
What is the difference? Are there an changes required for an existing design, to accommodate the "A" part?

Please refer the product details of ADV7282A in ADV7282A Datasheet and Product Info | Analog Devices And also refer theADV728x Design Support files description for ADV728x Models. In Description they have mentioned about video input/output/GPIO pins,AFE for ADV728x family.

What is needed is a 'Change Sheet'. What has changed that has caused Analog to update to a ...A version chip?
Is this a change to the technology? Was some feature updated? Did some aspect of this chip not function properly? Are you using a different fab?
We need this information to make sure that our products are compatible with the design.
Please advise the change(s) that forced a ...A to be added to the part, and the previous version is 'not recommended for new design'
Hi, The only differences between the ADV728x parts and the ADV728xA parts are as follows:
The crystal circuit The silicon revision ID
The ADV728xA parts have been released to offer increased support for external crystal oscillators. The new products are recommended and should be adopted in your customer's next design cycles for maximum robustness. The parts are software and pin-out compatible with the existing devices.
An additional resistor is required in the crystal circuit. The silicon revision ID was updated to differentiate between the different version of ADV728x and ADV728xA.
