I am working with a EVAL-ADV7282AEBZ, and I am trying to use the ITU-R BT.656 output.
I have a general question about ITU-R BT.656: If the analog video that is input is interlaced, will the ITU-R BT.656 output be interlaced as well? The board does have a de-interlacer, but is it automatic?
If the output is de-interlaced (progressive), than there is something that I don't understand.
In the EAV and SAV signals, which are FF 00 00 XY, the XY contains information about which field is being transmitted. But if the video is progressive, than there should not be fields anymore. Can someone please explain this to me?
