On using LTC 2984 demo board, when i try to load data in EEPROM or retrieve data from it, i am able to do it?
Is it using the internal EEPROM for it?
So the question is when and how the external eeproms can be used?
Please refer to pg 23 of the LTC2984 datasheet for instructions on using the internal EEPROM. The EEPROM is used to save the contents of the user RAM across power cycles. This is useful for example when you have a large set of custom sensor data or many channels configured and would like to not store them in your host uC code.
Note that on power-up the host will have to tell the LTC2984 to read the contents back from EEPROM into user RAM. See page 24 of the LTC2984 datasheet.
