Hello I am trying to build a Petalinux distribution that supports the FMCOMMS4 card

connected to a Zedboard.

The reason for this is that I want try it out using the SDSoC environment.

I can build the ADI version for Linux for this card but it does not provide the right output

to build a SDSoC support package. I can also build Petalinux using the hardware

wrapper generated using the HDL files supplied by ADI. Unfortunately Petalinux

does not support AD936x devices in its kernel module tree.

I found this page that describes what source code and device tree I need for the drivers

AD9361 high performance, highly integrated RF Agile Transceiver™ Linux device driver [Analog Devices Wiki]

The Petalinux tool provides the ability to add custom kernel modules.

AR# 55997: PetaLinux - How do I add kernel modules to my PetaLinux root file system?

Has anyone tried doing this?

Any advice would be appreciated as I am a bit out of my depth!
