We have a SigmaDSP (ADAU1442/ADAU1445/ADAU1446) that performs a self boot.  There is a microcontroller attached to the I2C lines and also acts as a master.  Is it possible to talk to the EEPROM of the DSP without using Sigma Studio?

The sequence would look something like this:

-          self-boot starts

-          self-boot ends

-          Microcontroller updates EEPROM via I2C.

-          reset

-          New self-boot starts…

Thank You,

Jason
