Could you tell me the difference between AD9252BCPZ-50 and AD925A2BCPZ-50? Is the part with the A in it backwards compatible to the part without the A? Thanks,
-Tim Starr on behalf of ET
The "A" version is the same as the non-A version in performance, etc. The difference is the is the package, specifically pin 0 or the epad paddle of the package. The paddle is a slightly bigger to accommodate the die size and internal down bonds. The part is pin compatible and if you have already laid out a pcb with the non-A version you should have no problem installing the A version. We have had many customers use the new part on their existing designs.
