Correct Set-up of ADE7953 EVAL Board with Shunt

Hello,

I am having difficulty using a shunt with the ADE7953 Eval Board. From my source I have 118VAC with a load of about ~6A. I am using a .02ohm shunt across the phase line.

When I hooked up the shunt to the board and turned on my source. My board got fried.

What is the correct jumper set-up and what am I doing wrong with my set-up? I followed the recommended jumper setting from the user guide of the Eval board. JP2A, JP3A, JP4A closed and JP5A, JP6A open.

Does the shunt have to be used on the neutral line?

Thank you
