I am looking for the easiest solution for generating a linear frequency sweep that covers a bandwidth of 1 GHz total (for example, 500Mhz to 1.5Ghz or 1GHz to 2GHz for an FMCW radar. I would prefer to have a full 1GHz of sweep bandwidth in order to achieve the resolution that I am looking for. It would be highly ideal if there were an eval board that could do this for me, as I would prefer to not spin a custom board and it would be nice to have a USB interface.

It looks like the ADF4159 might be useful, but I'm not sure if either eval board option would work to generate the speed and frequency sweep that I need.

I would love if someone familiar with the product line could point me in the right direction.

Thanks so much!
