How to config the jumpers while running the ADC example on BF518F?
The instruction in readme file uses the same jumper positions as the default settings, seems wrong.
I am just wondering how are you saying that the jumper positions as the default settings seems wrong for ADC example, can you please elaborate? Are you facing any issue?
I checked the schematics in details and found that the SW4 disconnects DSP from ADC.
When the SPORT1 interface is used on the expansion interface II, set SW4 to all OFF and when ADC is used SW1-4 should be ON. The ADC range is controlled by switch SW4 position 5. The switch selects between the 2.5V and 5V input ranges. The max voltage range for a signal connected to the ADC inputs is 0–5V. Any voltage outside of the range can damage the EZ-Board. SW4 position 6 is used to configure the inputs for single-ended mode (OFF) or differential mode (ON).
The readme file lists the following settings. The SW4 are all off.
According to your reply, should I change SW1-4 to ON, and set SW5-6 for specific range and mode?
Any other settings should be set differently from the readme file?
Apart from the settings I mentioned in my previous post I don't think anything else need to be changed. Please let me know if you are facing any problem in accessing ADC.
