External reference clock with adrv9361-z7035 and Matlab

Hi,

 

I am using adrv9361-z7035 with Matlab with Zynq SDR Support from Communications System Toolbox (Zynq SDR hardware support package), this enables me to send/receive samples with the SOM via Matlab.

Before using that hardware support package I was able to use external reference clock by editting the device tree (as mentioned in FMC Carrier [Analog Devices Wiki] ).

After installing the hardware support package, the SD card contents were changed and so was the device tree.

After re-editing the device tree so I will use an external reference clock, there seemed no change in the behavior (the SOM still used the embedded 40MHz clock). I saw this post regarding the same question Enable External Clock AES-Z7PZ-SDR2-DEV-G Evaluation Module , and tried the suggested solution with no luck.

Do you know what should I do so I can use external reference clock with the Matlab hardware support package?
